Biography: Calin Radulescu

Experience: Calin Radulescu is originally from Bucharest, Romania, where he gradulated with honors from the Romanian National Ballet School. After graduation he spent four years in the Romanian National Ballet, where he danced as a principal dancer and toured all over the world with the company. After leaving the company, Calin traveled to Germany to dance for Pfaltz Theater Kaiserslautern. Traveling to the United States, he was invited to join Cincinnati Ballet where he spent two seasons there before venturing on to Tulsa Ballet and eventually Grand Rapids Ballet.

He has been teaching since 1999 accumulating a lot of experience in this domain. Some of his teaching credits include Grand Rapids Ballet School, Aquinas College, toledo Ballet, Burklyn Ballet Theater, Chcchetti Council of America, Dance Masters of Michigan, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp among others. In addition to teaching at MoCo, Calin also teaches ballet at Grand Valley State University. Calin enjoys teaching and choreographing and is looking forward to sharing this passion with Moving Company Students both in class and during our 2008 presentations of "Coppelia" and "The Grinch".
