Biography: Lynda Durell

Education/Experience: Ms. Durell began dancing at age 3, and has 56 years of experience as a student, performer, choreographer and instructor. She began her training with Howard Hultberg where she experienced her first stage and television performances. She has experience in choreographic work for musicals and held the titles of “Miss Dance of Michigan” and “Miss Dance of America”. She was also the Talent Winner and Overall Runner-up for “Miss Michigan”. Ms. Durell has international dance form experience with Peg Harris. Her advanced training was with Ed and Ruth Hanf where she later served as an instructor. Her continued education is at The Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, The Broadway Dance Center in NYC, The Los Angeles Dance Force, The Los Angeles Dance Magic and New York City Dance Alliance workshops annually.
Ms. Durell opened The Moving Company in E.G.R. in 1980 where she continues to serve as instructor and director. She lives with her husband, Dick, in E.G.R. where they have raised their 6 children.
