Biography: Markus A. Shields
Classes: Competition and Recreational Hip Hop
Experience: Markus Alden Shields was born and raised in Grand Rapids. Unlike most who dance, Markus was choreographing and instructing competition routines and advanced classes just a year after he began dancing. Markus' greatest accomplishment was competing his way to the top 60 in Las Vegas for the reality show "So You Think You Can Dance?" in April 2007. In the duration of his days as a choreographer, his eclectic and intricate style has vastly evolved and allowed him to receive numerous choreography and 1st place awards in national competitions. Shields' teaching career began at T&T Dance Center (AKA T-3's Dance Elite) and he soon began to branch off and instruct classes at studios across the state. Performing is Markus' specialty and he will continue to display his talents as he has in the past events/venues such as: The Haunt, the American Basketball Association (ABA) games, various festivals and prestigious shows. Shields is delighted to be able to grant his talents of choreography and instruction to the students of "T-3 together with the Moving Company"
