2009-2010 Competition Team
Team Requirements
Consistent attendance is mandatory! No more than three absences permitted per student per class during the season. Competition is a commitment - no drops and no refunds! We will be holding three Sunday rehearsals through out the year to help students make up absences they have missed.
If you are competing in...
- Jazz you must take a jazz technique class.
- Tap you must take a tap technique class.
- Lyrical you must take a lyrical technique class.
- Hip-Hop you must a hip hop technique class.
- BALLET CLASS IS STRONGLY RECCOMENDED FOR ALL COMPETITION STUDENTS.
What does Competition Include?
- JR COMPETITION TEAM (Levels 2-4)
- UNLIMTED hours of regular MoCo Classes
- Two competitive routines
- Two competitive costumes
- Coaching & Choreography Fees
- 2 Summer Dance Classes OR The Dance Attack

When is the Competitive Season?
Because we will be using some of your child's class time as their competition rehearsal, the extra time commitment is minimal. We will be attending three competitions between January and May of 2010.
The competitions release their schedules late summer allowing us to pick the best competitions and provide you with our travel dates in October 2008.
Where do the competitions take place?
Typical cities we attend include Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Detroit. We will try our best to attend quality competitions as close to home as possible.
