2009 Ensemble Information
About the Performing Ensemble
We invite our finest students who have shown us that they are committed, diverse, and of course talented to be members of our performing ensemble. The last two seasons were an awesome beginning of a wonderfully successful adventure of producing full length ballets. In 2009 we plan to wow our members and guests with two more great performances!
Our 2009 calendar includes "Snow White" and "The Grinch" both of which will be under the Artistic Directorship of Calin Radulescu. Ensemble members will participate in both ballets.

Requirements
To participate in the Ensemble students must take a minimum of three classes per week with at least one class being a ballet class. All Ensemble members must take Dance Attack. The "Dance Attack" for Ensemble members is only to $200. If you are also a MoCo competitive student, the Dance Attack is included in the price of our competitive program! You also must plan to audition for your parts in both the ballets. Auditions will be held May 3rd from 3:00-5:00 and August 31st from 5:00-7:00. If you know anyone who is interested in being an "extra" in one or both of our ballets, please spread the word that auditions are open to all daners ages five through adult.
Cost
Ensemble $350/season
The total cost of participating in the Ensemble includes the following things:
- Professional headshots
- Choreography from performing professionals
- Costuming
- Participation in two on stage performances
- Rehearsal space and instructors
- Discounted Dance Attack!
- Eleven free ballet classes
You must commit by July 14th. The cost will be added to your monthly tuition and payable monthly.
WE WILL PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH AMPLE FUNDRAISING & AD SALES OPPORTUNITIES TO COVER THE FINAL THREE PAYMENTS! (No Drops & No Refunds)
Adutition Dates
All dancers ages five through adult are invited to audition FREE at the Moving Company on the following date:

May 2nd from 3:00-5:00
- RSD! levels 2 & 3 (next fall) at 4:00
- Levels 1 thru 3 (next fall) at 4:30
- Levels 4 thru advanced (next fall) May 2nd at 5:00
- Ensemble members will come during their level of class
Please have your dancer wear a leotard, tights, and ballet or jazz shoes.
