Class Information

Registrations

Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis beginning March 29th. You may register by mail, phone, fax, online, or in person. All registrations must be accompnied by a payment. (Please see payment schedule for details.)

Open House/Registration

September 7th & 8th from 9:00-6:00

Open Viewing

Families, guests and students are welcome to observe classes at any time. Unattended children not in the classroom may not be left at MoCo.

Make-up Classes

Make-up classes are available each week. Students should attend a class that is the same dance form and level as the class that was missed. All missed classes should be made up to assure that everyone progresses at the same rate.

Refund Policy

Refund policy is that if for any reason you do not plan to complete the dance year, the money you have paid but not used, minus a $40 per class registration fee, is refundable to you. Prorated refund is calculated from the date that Lynda Durell is notified in writing of a dropped class. No refunds after March 1st 2011.

Summer Dance clasess, Dance Attack, competition, and performing ensemble are not subject to refunds. Competition and performing ensemble are both NO DROPS programs.

Class Attire

All dancers must wear dance attire. Street clothing and shoes are not allowed, and dancers will not be admitted to class.

Ready, Set, Dance! Students wear plain colored tights and leotard with the option of a skirt. Tap shoes must be white Bloch style 352 or 372. Ballet shoes must be pink Bloch style 205.

Ballet classes and combination dancers wear black leotards and pink tights. Ballet shoes must be pink Bloch style 259 or 277. Pointe shoes are any brand and style recommended by the instructor.

Irish students wear black tights, a conservative color of leotard and have the option of wearing a skirt. Shoes must be black Bloch style 301.

Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop students may wear any style and color of fitted dance clothing.

Tap students level 1 – 3 must wear tan Bloch style 302 or 388. Level 4 through Advanced must wear black style 388.

Jazz students must wear black Bloch Style 495.

Hip-hop students must wear black Bloch Style 539G or 515.

All competitive shoes will be announced in the fall.
